Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding BabelBot to your Discord server or using any of its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use BabelBot.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and BabelBot, and govern your access to and use of the BabelBot Discord translation service.

2. Description of Service

BabelBot is a Discord bot that provides real-time translation services within Discord servers. The bot automatically detects non-English messages and translates them to English to facilitate communication between users speaking different languages.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of BabelBot, you agree to:

• Use the service in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Not use BabelBot to translate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble BabelBot
• Not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service
• Not use BabelBot for any commercial purposes without prior written consent

Server administrators are responsible for ensuring that BabelBot is used appropriately within their Discord servers.

4. Limitations of Liability

BabelBot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• The service will meet your specific requirements
• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of translations will meet your expectations
• Any errors in the service will be corrected

In no event shall BabelBot, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from:

• The use or inability to use the service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Statements or conduct of any third party on the service
• Any other matter relating to the service

5. Intellectual Property

BabelBot and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developers of BabelBot and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You may not use the BabelBot name, logo, or other proprietary information without express written permission.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to BabelBot immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
